RAMAS training

The RAMAS Foundation provides multi-disciplinary training on Risk Awareness, Risk Triage, Risk Assessment and Risk Management. We hold courses in London, Cork and Vancouver or we can come on site to you.

Our Training is structured to provide evidenced based courses at three levels as follows:

Level I: Risk Awareness, Risk Identification and Triage

A half-day practitioner-led workshop in basic awareness in risk assessment management, audit and public safety. It also covers an introduction into the implementation of RAMAS across agencies.

Suitable for senior management to familiarise themselves with RAMAS.

Level II: Qualified Training on RAMAS leading to registration as RAMAS risk and care trained user

A one day course qualifying participants to use the system, and providing them with a professional manual and registration. The system may only be used by trained and registered persons.

Level III: RAMAS License to Train

RAMAS Trainers are licensed , in the first instance to train up to 24 other professionals . Quality of training is monitored and supported by the RAMAS team.
All trained are registered with RAMAS as certified users.
Persons wishing to obtain a license will be experienced RAMAS users with training experience.
The license will form part of an organisation's mental health and risk management strategy where the implementation of RAMAS is a key element.

RAMAS is accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is suitable for CPD. Training courses take place throughout the year in London, or on-site at your organisation if required.
